The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor has posted at its website state and district level funding estimates under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
As noted at the website "these documents estimate what each state would receive under the bill's following program allocations: State Stabilization Funds, Title I, Title I School Improvement, IDEA, McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance, Education Technology, and Child Care and Development Block Grant Discretionary Funding." The school district level estimates are for Title I and IDEA.

"Smart Options: Investing the Recovery Funds for Student Success" a report sponsored by the Eli and Edythe Broad and Bill and Melinda Gates foundations outlines ways to spend education designated ARRA funds.

The report addresses five priority areas.
