Here's an interesting resource for the classroom.  Weboword is a website that provides daily vocabulary in a visual format.  The site also offers a few word puzzles, and encourages contribution from visitors.

Social media and the classroom is a hot topic among educators, administrators, parents, and legislators. It is widely used among young people to communicate with their peers, and is gaining footholds within the business world and other organizations.
