Guideline:

Extended time activities are offered before or after school, during the summer, or any extension of the school year. Emphasis should be on how such programs will aid migratory students with improving their academic performance.

This link is to the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Family Services. As noted at its website, "CCDF provides federal resources for child care that support both direct services and quality enhancements. The majority of CCDF dollars are used to provide subsidies to eligible low-income children under age 13."

This resource is an MSNBC news article describing a New Jersey program offering summer school for migrant children whose parents are working in the local blueberry fields each summer. In addition to describing the New Jersey program, the article describes the challenges involved with reaching migrant students.
