Guideline:

As an ongoing process, curriculum mapping enables teachers to identify what and how they are teaching and permits them to look ahead to determine how they can improve their instructional approaches. Teachers should view curriculum mapping as a tool that enables them to assess and improve how they do what they do.

The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) is the principal association representing the state directors for educational technology. SETDA's goal is to improve student achievement through technology.

In this video provided by Curriculum Designers, Inc., Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs discusses moving forward with advanced mapping techniques. This video runs 4 minute and 34 seconds.
