Guideline:

The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act's goals highlight the focus areas educators should address to improve student academic achievement. The goals define the areas the state departments of education must address through the use of the federal program funds they receive. District and school leaders should be aware of their state education agency's response to fulfilling the NCLB goals.

This resource lists the five No Child Left Behind (NCLB) goals as established by the U.S. Department of Education. Through its consolidated state performance report, each state education agency is to address how it is working toward fulfilling these goals.
