This link is to the revised Curriculum Standards for Social Studies developed by a task force of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) and approved by the NCSS Board of Directors in March 2010.

As noted at its website, "the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) is the largest association in the country devoted solely to social studies education. NCSS engages and supports educators in strengthening and advocating social studies."
