KnowledgeBases > The Writing Successful Grants KnowledgeBase > Element 3 > Activity 2 > Task 1: Establish Project Timeline

Guideline:

Developing a successful grant proposal requires managing the process. The most worthy project will be unsuccessful if it is not submitted within the timeline established by the funding source for grant proposals. The grant seeker must be aware of the submission timeline and develop a project timeline to submit the grant proposal on time.

This document offers guidance on the time to allocate to the major tasks of preparing the grant proposal.

This article explains how to create a Gantt chart for scheduling project-related activities.
