Assessing how a school's professionallearning addresses student behavior and school safety is as important as addressing academic instruction. Without a staff attuned to behavior and safety issues, effective instruction will not occur. A review of professional learning activities should identify subjects presented, staff participation, frequency of activity, and the impact in the classroom.
