Within the Bureau of Indian Affairs the Office of Indian Education Programs (OIEP) is a service organization devoted to providing quality education opportunities for American Indian people. The Office of Indian Education Programs was renamed the Bureau of Indian Education in 2006 even though their website has not changed their name. This OIEP website provides information about and for the BIA funded Indian schools.
