Guideline:

Title III, Part C, Section 3302 (e) of the No Child Left Behind Act states that "each eligible entity using funds provided under this title to provide a language instruction educational program shall implement an effective means of outreach to parents of limited English proficient children to inform such parents of how they can be involved in the education of their children and assist them achieve academic success." Organizng a parent advisory committee is a way to meet this requirement.  Such a committee enables school staff members and parents to interact.  

This resource offers examples of existing ESL/Bilingual/ELL/LEP Parent Advisory Committees or Councils. The selected examples are provided for illustrative purposes.
